Traveling to cities like Berlin is not only popular with German and European visitors. More and more tourists from all over the world are coming to get to know the capital.
Many of these travelers spend the night in our ootel, not only because of the good prices, but also because of the location in the former eastern part of the formerly divided city. Here on the outskirts of the city are more often remains from the time of the GDR.
Very close to the hotel is the museum apartment in the “Platte”. There is an almost completely original 3-room apartment, which is completely typical for the former GDR. Whoever enters there, is on a journey into the past.
The apartment is equipped with everything that belongs to it. There they find original pieces of furniture from the time of the German democratic republic as well as the real rough-textured wallpapers and countless everyday objects.
It even hangs clothes in the closets. A piece of history, home decor and nostalgia: absolutely worth seeing.
