A café stop on Auguststraße can fit into a visit to Berlin-Mitte. The two businesses below publish their own location information, so you can check the exact address and current arrangements before travelling. These are independent cafés, not facilities at Ootel.
THE BARN Mitte
THE BARN’s official Mitte page lists Auguststraße 58, 10119 Berlin. The operator describes this as its original café, opened in 2010, and lists espresso and hand-brewed coffee alongside food options. Use the location page for current opening times and ask the café about specific dietary or access requirements.
House of Small Wonder
House of Small Wonder’s official directions give Auguststraße 11–13, 10117 Berlin. The business specifically asks visitors to use the full address because navigation by name can lead to its former Johannisstraße location. Its own history describes Japanese-American comfort food and its move to Auguststraße in July 2021.
Check the current menu and reservation information directly with the café. A photograph or an old review does not guarantee that a particular dish is available on your visit.
Plan the stop around your day
- Choose the exact branch and address rather than relying on the business name alone.
- Check opening times for your date, especially around holidays.
- For a group, confirm seating and reservations with the café before setting the itinerary.
- Ask about dietary requirements, access and the current menu directly.
- Include the outward and return journey from your accommodation in your plans.
